How do I remove a recommendation of a service provider when they have my recommendation listed? It says "This recommendation is visible in the LinkedIn service provider directory -" everytime I try to remove the recommendation.

Thanks.

Yeah, good point Jim. You can't "make sure," but you can hope or request.

I just got a request to rewrite a recommendation, and while I had the opportunity to redefine job titles of me and the recipient, I couldn't designate our relationship (service provider). Darn.

So let me rephrase ... instead of "make sure they choose service provider," ask them to choose service provider.

How do you "make sure they choose service provider" if you are not asking them to make a recommendation?
