Leaving Groups
March 7th, 2008 | by Jason Alba |I’m still waiting for a reply back from LinkedIn to help me understand the value of being a member of a group. For now I’ll share something that’s been on my mind for months. I’ve joined a few groups that I shouldn’t have, as I was poking around. I want to clean up my profile a little so that my JibberJobber group stands out more, and take off some local groups that I have no business being a member of (one in California, one in New York, etc.)
It’s pretty easy to find, if you want to poke around, but I hadn’t poked around enough to actually find it. So here’s what you do:
Step One: Click on My Groups on the left main menu area.
Step Two: For the group you want to leave, click on Settings.
Step Three: At the very bottom of the page, below the Save button, click on the Leave this group link.
You can see from how easy this is that I’m not good at poking around. I’ll never claim to have that as my strength ![]()
